Lex has been in the travel industry for nearly 30 years, amassing countless professional achievements and accolades. This includes Flight Centre Hall of Fame status. Regardless of his prolific experience, he counts his clients among his most significant job highlights.
“I love the relationship I have with my clients and sharing in their travel experiences. Even after all these years in the industry, I still enjoy turning their travel dreams into reality.”
Lex’s level of service is second to none as he aims to get to know each of his clients personally. This provides him with a better understanding of each of his clients’ needs and what goes into creating bespoke and memorable experiences that speak to each individual. Though he has planned many unforgettable moments for those he works with, one of his most memorable was a family trip to Scandinavia.
“I once organised for a large family group to spend Christmas in Scandinavia. Arranging for a private visit from the ‘real’ Santa on Christmas Eve was definitely the highlight.”
It is these special touches that set Lex apart because he understands what a difference the small details make when travelling thanks to a lifetime of his own global trekking.
He has visited more than 50 different countries and collected a number of incredible travel memories and he counts Paris among his favourite destinations in the world. However, when it comes to specialties, Lex is all about Italy. Pulling together tailor-made itineraries that showcase the food, culture and lifestyle of Italy is one of his biggest passions.
“I have booked clients into private villas, created walking tours of the Dolomites and sent them to one of my personal favourite places, Venice. I have an exclusive arrangement to provide clients with tours around Lake Garda, the less discovered by equally captivating alternative to Lake Como.”
Whether you’re considering Italy or any other far flung destination, Lex can help you design a holiday that surpasses expectations. Drop by the Noller & Turner Travel Associates to experience the superior level of service that comes with working with a travel professional that aims to ensure each client’s trip is the best it can possibly be.
With more than 20 years of professional experience under her belt, Kelly knows the value of going the extra mile. And that’s exactly what she does every time she books a holiday for her clients. It is just one aspect of her daily responsibilities that makes her job so rewarding.
“I love creating unique and surprising itineraries that capture the essence of each destination. Be it creating family holidays in the USA, giving clients tips and tricks when travelling with children, or offering unique experiences and itineraries that go outside the normal offerings. The joy travel brings to people are memories they carry for life.”
This is something Kelly is all too familiar with, having travelled to more than 35 different countries herself. From delving into the rich traditions of Vietnam to exploring every side of Croatia, she has many travel memories that she counts among her most memorable; however, it’s the ‘City that Never Sleeps’ that keeps Kelly coming back.
“New York is my favourite destination. The people, food, sights and energy the city offers. New York offers something for everyone and most people that return can’t wait to go back! In fact, one of my favourite travel tips I like to give to clients is to take a compass to New York city so when you emerge from the subway, you know which direction to walk. Just a simple cheap compass can save you frustration and allow you to navigate this enormous city.”
Kelly’s travels have resulted in numerous helpful tips that she is willing to impart to her clients. Be it a hidden bar in San Francisco, how to score attraction tickets ahead of time to avoid disappointment or what to pack for an enjoyable long haul flight with children, she knows her stuff. Family travel and ski holidays are her areas of expertise after all.
It doesn’t matter if you’re thinking of a holiday at home to discover the astounding beauty of Oz, or you’re hoping to escape the bustle in French Polynesia. Maybe you’re looking for a taste of the high life in the UAE, or you want to ski the slopes in Switzerland. No matter where your travel dreams are, Kelly can help you turn them into reality. Stop by the Noller & Turner Travel Associates to find out how.
Even after 20 years in the industry, I am still enthusiastic about the world of travel. I love planning personalised itineraries, especially for families, and especially itineraries that involve diverse cultural experiences such as perusing local markets, exploring the back streets of cities like Paris and indulging in local cuisine.
I have travelled extensively in the UK, France and Italy with my own children so I know what is needed to plan the perfect family holiday. These holidays have included villa stays in the Dordogne and Tuscany, apartment stays in London and Paris and driving adventures in Ireland.
Travel for me is the opportunity to explore different cultures and to share these discoveries with my clients. This is what first attracted me to the industry and I still hold this fascination today. Travel opens our minds to the world and how others live and I love the excitement of sharing this with my clients.
I have now been in travel for 22 years but I still love the excitement of helping someone plan their first trip overseas. I enjoy being part of their journey and helping them create their own world of discovery.
My clients are part of my family. I treat every holiday as though it were my family I was sending away. I like to share the journey with my clients from the planning, to the emails they send when they are away about their adventures, to the catch up when they return.
My areas of expertise are the USA, Europe, Africa and Bali and I especially enjoy working with families.
The wonder and excitement of travel never gets old for Susie. Taking her children on a tour of a preserved Japanese village outside Tokyo, Susie happily recalls the smiles and looks of wonderment she saw on each of their faces. And having once lived in Japan, Susie was all the more excited to share the country with her family.
It’s precisely that approach to travel planning that Susie takes with her clients as she looks for ways to inject fun and excitement into every tour, itinerary or holiday. And because she has travelled the world herself, she understands just what makes a trip so carefree and enjoyable. Not only is Susie able to plan a trip from start to finish, but she is able to anticipate precisely what her clients will need from beginning to end.
With her convenient knowledge of the Himalayas and of high altitude trekking, Susie remembers one client in particular whom she was able to work her travel-planning-magic for.
“I recently assisted a client who wanted to travel from the lowest part of the world near the Dead Sea, to the highest part of the world, Mount Everest. With my knowledge of the Himalaya and travelling in altitude, I was able to help him design the itinerary and advise him on how to prepare physically.”
Naturally, Nepal is one of Susie’s favourite destinations, both for the hiking and trekking, and for the fresh mountain air. But India too holds many wonderful memories for Susie, and like Nepal, it remains at the top of her ‘must-see’ list. “I love India!” exclaims Susie. “The colours and smells of India are an absolute assault on the senses.”
“I particularly love remote parts of the world and go off the beaten trek when I can,” says Susie. Walking amongst wild life on the Antarctic Peninsula, watching a Buddhist ceremony where the Everest mountaineers receive their blessings, and walking the beautiful Inca Trail and through the Golden Gate to see Machu Picchu, are all memorable travel moments in Susie’s life.
Sharyn considers herself blessed to have worked as a travel manager for more than 30 years. And her clients feel equally blessed, to have found themselves such an outstanding consultant.
“We are avid travellers and Sharyn has been involved in all of our trips around the world,” say long-time clients, Rosemarie and Terry. “Not only have members of our family travelled using Sharyn but we are always happy to recommend her to our many friends and the feedback from them has always been excellent.”
These sentiments are echoed by anyone who has had the privilege of working with Sharyn. In fact, she was recognised as the Flight Centre Group’s Top Consultant Worldwide three times and inducted into the Flight Centre ‘Hall Of Fame’ in 2001.
Sharyn is willing to put some of her own adventurous plans on hold to help others see the world. “Like many of my clients, I still have an extensive bucket list of destinations to experience,” she says. “But I’m also inspired to be in the office, to assist my clients to make their travel dreams a reality.”
Sharyn prides herself on excellent customer service and is always at the ready for a challenging new holiday request. Nothing is too hard for this experienced consultant and she will go out of her way to add value to every itinerary. For example, some clients came to her wanting to plan a long, seven-week holiday. “I started researching tour options then contacted Sharyn with our preferences and, of course, she had found far better deals than I had,” says client Leanne.
“Transfers, tickets, tours - they were all in place and on time. The quality of the experience was excellent as well. Her recommendations for hotels, both location and quality, were outstanding. We now know, that going straight to Sharyn saves us time and hassle.”
Life’s too short to spend precious time planning the logistics. Instead, leave that with Sharyn, and allow yourself to enjoy the best parts of your holiday. You can fully immerse yourself in your chosen destination, knowing you’re in some of the safest hands possible.
