An experienced travel consultant and successful manager of Connelly & Turner Travel Associates, Lisa Connelly is someone who lives and breathes travel. A winner of the prestigious ‘Top Travel Consultant – Victoria’ award, Lisa’s first-hand knowledge of the world, her personal, friendly service and attention to detail have also been recognised by her many repeat clients.
Like so many young people fresh out of school, Lisa made the obligatory overseas trip in search of new and exciting lands. Little did she know that her journey through South-East Asia would lead to a rewarding career dedicated to travel. Fast forward to today, and Lisa has travelled to dozens of countries around the world.
Lisa enjoys organising all kinds of travel plans, but with a young family herself, she finds family friendly, luxury holidaysof particular interest. In fact, many trips have included her young children, which by itself qualifies Lisa as an expert in family travel.
Her favourite international cities are St Petersburg, Paris, Barcelona, New York, Dublin and Shanghai – all places where she can help you discover those special spots that only the locals know about.
From the U.K., Italy, Spain and beyond, Lisa has travelled throughout Europe. Highlights on this beautiful continent include a Russian river cruise between St Petersburg and Moscow, driving the spectacular Croatian Dalmatian coastline between the cities of Dubrovnik & Split and sailing to the beautiful Island of Hvar. In Greece, the alluring Island of Santorini held many charms for Lisa and her family.
Lisa has also explored Asia and the South Pacific, including Thailand, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong, the Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Fiji, Cook Islands and New Zealand.
Lisa has visited many parts of the USA including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Boston, Washington DC, New York City, New Orleans, Miami, Orlando and Hawaii. Lisa’s top USA experiences include a stay at New York City’s luxury Crosby Street Hotel in Sohowhere she found its impeccable service and helpful concierge to be first rate. Hawaii also receives top marks from Lisa. Here she enjoyed the Big Island’s Four Seasons Hualalai and Four Seasons Maui. One highlight of the trip was Lisa’s heli-tour over Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Having visited each of the main islands, Lisa is just the person to organise your Hawaiian holiday.
One of Lisa’s most recent journeyswas to Patagonia and the Atacama Desert in Chile. With accommodation at the luxury Explora hotels, top attractions for Lisa included hiking and horseback riding in Patagonia’s picturesque countryside as well as the breathtaking views of the mountains and sparkling glaciers and lakes. Floating in the salt water lagoons and cycling across the desert, Lisa found her time in the Atacama Desert to be equally mesmerising.
Lisa has also travelled throughout Australia. Some of her most memorable Aussie experiences include the fabulous Margaret River wine region, croc viewing in the wetlands of Kakadu and an incredible sunset over famous Cable Beach.
But her most memorable travel moments include the luxury Islands of Yasawa, Turtle Island and Royal Davui in Fiji where she snorkelled in enchantingly beautiful blue lagoons. The five-star Fiji resorts of Vomo and Jean Michel Cousteau also get high praises from Lisa. She also fell in love with the Cook Islands and in particular the island of Aitutaki with its magnificent lagoon, coral reefs, abundant marine life and small motu. Staying in the South Pacific, Lisa can also recommend another island paradise for its luxurious overwater bungalows - Four Seasons Bora Bora in Tahiti.
Vising the Maldives, Lisa was most impressed with Four Seasons resorts such as Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru. With exceptional diving, pristine beaches, perfect waves for surfing and a swim with Manta Rays, Lisa ranks the Maldives as a must for families, honeymooners and adventure seekers.
If you are looking for once in a life time experiences, then Natalie Watts is the perfect Travel Consultant for you. With nearly two decades in the travel industry, Natalie has explored the world in her quest for adventure.
Natalie first fell in love with travel as a typical back-packer exploring the UK and Europe. Those two months rapidly expanded, with Natalie living for two and a half years overseas in bustling London and then on the perfect ski slopes of Whistler in Canada. She then took on the role of a camp counsellor in the forests of New Hampshire, USA.
Natalie has since travelled extensively, visiting North, South and Central Asia; South Pacific; UK and Europe; Australia; Africa; North and South America; cruising in the Caribbean; Antarctica and the Galapagos Islands.
Her passion is adventure travel and visiting contrasting cultures. The highlights of Natalie's travel history have been experiencing the Trans Mongolian Railway, trekking in Nepal, taking part in a Kenyan Safari, hiking the Inca trail to Machu Picchu in Peru, exploring the rainforests, beaches, volcanoes and immense biodiversity of Costa Rica, and expedition cruising in the Galapagos Islands and taking a polar plunge in Antarctica.
Natalie's most memorable travel moments are being part of the huge crowd in attending Fidel Castro's last ever public appearance in Cuba; hiking amongst the extraordinary wildlife on the Galapagos Islands and a polar plunge in the freezing waters in Antarctica.
Having worked as a professional travel consultant for over 15 years, the satisfaction that comes from helping a client realise their travel dreams is what Andrea finds most rewarding about her role. “I feel very passionate about the many ways, big and small, that I assist my clients with their travel itineraries,” says Andrea.
Every travel plan that Andrea creates is special, but one in particular sticks out in her mind because of its ‘bucket-list’ nature. Celebrating their 80th and 90th birthdays, an elderly couple wanted to go on a whirlwind tour of New York City. As their first international trip in almost 30 years, Andrea set out to make their trip the memory of a lifetime. Knowing New York like she does, Andrea set out planning the perfect custom made travel plan. From dinner reservations at top restaurants, VIP entry to museums and galleries, and the organising of all transport and accommodation requirements, the trip was a huge success.
Having travelled extensively throughout Europe, Andrea lists Barcelona, Spain as one of her favourite destinations. Some of her favourite Barcelona sights include La Boqueria Food Market, people watching along Las Ramblas, and of course the fabulous Mediterranean weather. Andrea has also travelled throughout Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands and the U.K.
Some of Andrea’s most memorable trips are the ones spent out in nature. Visiting Kenya and Tanzania, Andrea camped under the stars in the Serengeti, watched pink flamingos in the Ngorongoro Crater and strolled through the historic streets and alley ways of Stone Town in Zanzibar.
Andrea has made frequent visits to the Middle East and Asia too. Finding the beautiful over water villas at Cambodia’s Song Saa Private Island a treat, she was equally inspired by the nearby rainforests and beaches and the resort’s top notch food and service. Andrea has also visited Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, as well as Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

A professional travel consultant with over 15 years’ experience, Brigid’s career began with in-depth studies in Travel and Tourism at William Angliss College. Today, having travelled to nearly 50 countries around the world, Brigid’s knowledge and expertise are highly valued among her many repeat clients.
No itinerary is too complex for Brigid to handle. In fact, she thrives on the challenge of bringing every aspect of a holiday together. From airfares and accommodation, to adventure tours, top attractions and more, Brigid crafts each travel plan with thought and care. As Brigid puts it, “every trip, no matter how big or small is special, and my goal is to create happy memories that will last a life time.”
One memorable travel plan of Brigid’s,which she put together to the delight of a family with young kids was a trip to the magical Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, Lapland, in Finland. This winter wonderland is known for all things Christmas, and Brigid saw to it that the family not only experience the joy of swishing through the snow on a reindeer sleigh ride, but to visit Santa’s post office and meet the jolly man himself.
Brigid enjoys adventure holidays spent out in nature and she has travelled far and wide in search of memorable experiences. Star gazing on a clear night in the White Desert of Egypt, experiencing the power of the giant telescope at the Mt. John Observatory near Lake Tekapo in New Zealand, and viewing the mighty Iguazu Falls of Argentina on a moon lit night are just a few of the ways Brigid has experienced the magic of nature.
One of Brigid’s most cherished memories is watching the migration of African wildlife on her first safari in the Serengeti of Tanzania. Few things compare to seeing wildlife out in nature and Brigid was able to see up close, leopards, a lion family with cubs, a dazzle of zebras, and a baby giraffe that had been born just the day before.
Brigid counts the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires as her favourite South American city, however she has also enjoyed her visits to Chile and Peru. New York ranks as her top pick in North America. Siting the funky restaurants, the amazing food of Little Italy and the many iconic New York attractions, Brigid never tires of the Big Apple.
When travelling, Liz embraces a simple creed – get the most out of every moment. “Highlights aren't always about the destination,” Liz says, “it’s also about the timing, and what you do with that time.”
Liz applies that same principle to travel when organising her special itineraries for clients. For one client in particular, who happened to be a major tennis fan, Liz organised a complete Wimbledon package to coincide with their London trip. “It was a dream come true for them,” said Liz.
“More than anything, I love helping clients get the most out of their experiences, wherever they visit. I’m especially passionate though when it comes to African adventures and safaris.” One of Liz’ favourite destinations is Zimbabwe where she was able to see countless animals in the wild. “Walking with Lions in Zimbabwe was heart-throbbing, nerve-wracking and exhilarating all at the same time. I loved it so much, I went twice in one day!”
Los Glaciares National Park in southern South America’s Patagonia region is another of Liz’ favourite destinations. From the crystal clear lakes to the UNESCO World Heritage listed Perito Moreno Glacier, the barren landscape is at once hauntingly beautiful and discernibly remote. “This was one of the most stunning landscapes I've ever seen and it makes me appreciate our responsibility to remain sensitive to climate change,” Liz explains. “The scale of global warming and the fragility of our environment become very evident here.”
Liz also recommends visiting the Grand Canyon in the vast desert lands of the American southwest. One of the most common, and most exciting ways to take in this vast natural wonder is by helicopter. Just a short flight away from Las Vegas, any visit to this entertainment capital must include a Grand Canyon tour. Aside Zimbabwe, Argentina, Chile and the United States, Liz has travelled extensively through Europe and Asia, as well as to other parts of Africa, South America and the South Pacific.
Nicole’s love of travel began as a young child. Visiting the east and west coasts of the U.S.A, visiting both Disneyland and Disneyworld and taking in a Broadway show at the famous Winter Garden Theatre, are all experiences that shaped her identity and influenced her decision to enter the world of travel as a consultant.
Today, Nicole has travelled to dozens of countries around the world. Her personal favourites include Italy for its architecture, history and food, and for the family ties that still exist. Nicole also enjoys Paris for many of the same reasons. Nicole has also visited the European countries of Germany, Spain Switzerland, the U.K., as well as the Mediterranean island country of Malta.
Two travel experiences that Nicole found most memorable were her times spent out in nature – one in Africa and the other in Canada’s Banff National Park. In Africa, Nicole was swimming in a watering hole when a heard of elephants approached for a drink. In Canada, Nicole opened her cabin door one early morning to find a group of wild deer just metres away, feeding on the tall grass.
During Nicole’s 10 years working as a travel consultant, she has booked hundreds of memorable trips for clients old and new, to fascinating destinations around the world. Because of her own travel experiences, Nicole knows precisely what it takes to develop the perfect holiday plan.
“I absolutely love working on true, tailor-made holidays where I can suggest and book one of a kind tours and experiences, for everything from restaurants and shopping excursions to museums - even theatre tickets!”
No matter where the destination may be, or what the client may desire, Nicole’s talent lies in her ability to deliver a personalised travel experience based on the client’s own desires and interests. At the suggestion of Nicole, two couples once asked her to plan an “Out of Africa” safari style tour. Nicole planned every aspect of the adventure, from the land transport, to resorts and private plane transfers.
Other top destinations where Nicole has personally travelled are Brunei, Cambodia, China, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Thailand and Vietnam.
