The quintessential private island resort, Hayman Island, by InterContinental will be a five-star luxury oasis at the northernmost point of the Whitsunday Islands. The 166-room hotel is the only property on 400-hectare Hayman Island, which guaranteed peace and privacy, while the $100 million revamp will showcase the best of the InterContinental brand, with world-class facilities, rooms and suites.

One of the world's most unique locations, the resort’s idyllic setting promises a secluded haven surrounded by white-sand beaches and clear blue waters. Boasting spectacular views across the Coral Sea, Hayman Island is also the closest of the Whitsunday Islands to Whitehaven Beach, world-famous Heart Reef and the outer reef. It is accessible via Hamilton Island and then by either luxury vessel or helicopter.
