Celebrate the holiday season in Europe

Experiencing a traditional white Christmas is a bucket list item for many people, and where better than France, Austria and Germany to tick it off the list? Stroll through cobblestoned streets and listen to the powdery snow underfoot as you take in Munich’s stunning Christmas markets. Perhaps you’d like to warm up with some roasted chestnuts in Salzburg, or maybe a cinnamon baked apple is more your style. Then you can make your way out into the country for a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle and have a traditional Weisswurst breakfast at the monk-run Ettal Abbey. It’s not all about the food though, you can shop for handicrafts and other knickknacks in Vienna and take little Christmas treats home for friends and family.
