First Class

Upper Class

With its renowned bed, bar and chauffeured airport transfers (on most fares) Virgin Atlantic's Upper Class means business.

Seating

A clever herringbone seat layout in a 1-1-1 configuration means that all Upper Class seats face forward and have direct aisle access. An ottoman footrest doubles as a seat for a guest. The seat width of 22 inches increases to 33 inches across the shoulders when the patented Upper Class seat flips forward to reveal a horizontal bed with proper mattress doona, pillow and pyjamas.

Dining

Order what you want whenever you like in a trolley-free cabin with the Freedom Menu service. Alternatively, the stunning sit-down bar is a great place to meet fellow passengers, chat with the crew and have a drink or a bite to eat.

Entertainment

Whether your idea of entertainment revolves around pillows, a proper doona, pyjamas, a 10.4 inch TV screen and 300 hours of entertainment on-demand, or mingling with other passengers at a proper bar at 35,000 feet, Upper Class delivers. Toss in in-seat laptop power and phones in each IFE handset and you've got no excuse to be bored. And remember, if you absolutely must work onboard, please don't disturb the passengers at the bar.
