Individual cabins are arranged into 4-abreast seating 1-2-1 and each seat has a seat pitch of 6 feet 8 inches, which transforms into a 180 degree flat bed. A six-way movement headrest and electrically operated backrest, armrest, legrest and footrest ensure a relaxing journey. The seats feature pneumatic lumbar support with built-in massage facility, reading light and desk lamp, as well as mini-bar, coat hanger and personal stowage. Diamond First guests may also socialise in the lounge located at the front of the aircraft, complete with bar and seating area.
Etihad's new in-flight service, Inspired Service, allows guests the flexibility to choose when to eat and drink from a new menu featuring a-la-carte and kitchen choices. Enjoy a medley of fine ingredients, with Oriental, Asian, European and Middle Eastern influences creating classic choices. Choose the finest wines served from the bottle.
The Diamond zone in the new A340-500 aircraft brings big-screen luxury (at 23 inches, the new LCD video screens are the largest in the business) to the skies, including over 450 hours of world-class entertainment with the Audio-Video On-Demand (AVOD) system. Diamond seats also offer in-flight telephony on some aircraft, two USB ports and an RCA socket, so you can connect your laptop as usual.

The Pearl Business Class self-contained, spacious seat transforms into a 6 feet 1 inch, 180 degree flat bed. With an 88 inch seat pitch and direct access to the aisle, the Pearl seat offers plenty of space. For added comfort, each seat is also equipped with individual lighting and a reading lamp. There's also a built-in massage facility to help you relax.

Pearl Business Class offers over 450 hours of entertainment with an advanced Audio-Video On- Demand (AVOD) system. Enjoy 15 inch personal LCD screens - the largest in comparable cabins in the industry. You can also enjoy more flexibility as you can use the Plug-and-Play feature to view your own videos, while the audio player lets you create your own play lists. And you can catch up with work while you travel with power access, USB ports and an RCA socket, so you can connect your laptop and work the hours away.
