Lynette has been travelling since she was a little girl and it was these adventures which inspired her to work in the travel industry. Originally she was interested in being an air hostess but soon discovered her true passion lay in designing her own itineraries. So, for the past 17 years she has been helping clients to travel the world in unique and memorable ways.
Lynette loves how people come alive when then they report back about their journeys or tell what they want to do next. There is something truly special making peoples travel dreams come true.
She's fortunate to have a wealth of personal travel experience under her belt, from the domestic delights of Tasmania and Whitsundays to the far-away flavours of France. Ask her about her adventures in the Middle East or her travel tips for Thailand or even Tonga.
Despite having been to some of the most exotic places in the world, her favourite is hanging out with her husband and beautiful baby girl Khaleesi at the Como Shambala in Bali.
She loves Asia for its diverse culture. She is astounded by its ability to be so technologically-advanced in places while others are so behind in the simplest of things, like living conditions. Witnessing how others live is a humbling experience, and one that is very important to Lynette and her family.
Though well versed in all aspects of travel, Lynette is particularly skilled at booking coach tours and river cruises and coordinating itineraries for school groups and community organisations.
Kerrie’s love for travel started over 20 years ago when she was planning her first overseas holiday. The travel agent’s passion and enthusiasm who booked her trip is what led her into the travel industry. 16 years later, her own love, passion and enthusiasm for the role continues to thrive as she explores the world with her husband and two children. Kerrie is grateful to be able to create dream holidays and open the world up for clients to experience.
Kerrie has been fortunate enough to travel to a lot of amazing countries including: Fiji, Bali, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, USA, Toronto, Hawaii, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana – take a breath - London, UK, France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey and Greece. As if that’s not enviable enough, she’s also covered a lot of Australian territory including Cairns, Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Brisbane, Melbourne, Kingscliff, Hamilton Island, Hayman Island, Daydream Island and Ayers Rock.
Kerrie says her favourite beach destination would be Hawaii; it has something for everyone and never disappoints. She also love Europe for the perfect blend of history, architecture, culture and language and of course, the food & shopping.
Some of her most special travel memories are staying in a hotel at the top of Mt Pilateus in Switzerland with sweeping panoramic views of the Swiss Alps. She’ll also never forget the trip to Africa with her husband where they adventured through some amazing game parks and watched the animals in their natural environment. A dream come true.
Kerrie specialises in all kinds of holidays, whether it be an amazing Honeymoon in Tahiti or an overwater bungalow stay in the Maldives. She enjoys booking everything from river cruising to guided holidays in Europe. The secret to her amazing itineraries? Kerrie says she asks her clients lots of questions to find out what they want from their holiday so she can turn their travel dreams into a reality.
We've all got that special travel memory which will stay with us forever. For Karen, it is snorkelling with her family in the crystal clear waters of Hanumans Bay. They were surrounded by unique marine life including a mother Monk Seal who was sunbaking on the water's edge close-by. Karen says will treasure the expression on her daughter's face forever.
After working in the travel industry for 19 years, Karen still loves coordinating unique holidays and contributing to other people's special travel memories.
She can offer first-hand travel tips about the South Pacific, including New Zealand, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Fiji and Bali.
Her favourite place is the West Coast of the USA and she will happily share her knowledge about the shopping, the weather, the culture and attractions - whether it be the dizzying rides of Disneyland, the lights of Las Vegas or humbling history of San Francisco.
Karen says that at some stage, everyone must immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Yosemite National park and watch the Grizzly Bears roam free.
Though well versed in all kinds of travel, Karen specialises in cruising, coach touring group travel and conferencing.
It’s easy to pinpoint when Nicole’s love of travel took hold. Turning 21, Nicole set out on an eight-week solo adventure through Europe. In that two-month period she not only travelled to 30 countries but made life-long memories and countless friends. Having received her Certificate III in Travel and Tourism upon her return, Nicole achieved accreditation from CLIA. Today, after nearly 20 years spent working as a travel professional, Nicole has helped make her own clients’ travel dreams come true. One area of travel that Nicole particularly enjoys is cruising, and for clients looking for that perfect ship or itinerary, Nicole can provide expert advice.
There is nothing that Jenny is more passionate about than travel – and the more exotic the destination, the better. From the glacier carved landscapes of the Antarctic, Iceland and Greenland to the windswept hills of the Galapagos or sunny shores of Madagascar, Jenny immerses herself in the global travel experience.
Having travelled to over 110 countries, 23 US states and much of Australia, there’s a good chance Jenny has already done the footwork and explored the fascinating sites and beautiful attractions that her Travel Associates clients will most appreciate and enjoy. Whether it’s a fun filled cruise, relaxing coach tour, exotic resort or even a safari or camping excursion, Jenny has the experience to organise a tailor made itinerary or package tour that is suited to your very own travel aspirations.
“I have lived and worked in London for 8 years and have over 25 years experience in retail travel. Give me a call and I’ll be happy to sit down with you and help organise your special holiday or important business trip.”
Travelling has changed the way Nic sees the world. She has learned so much by taking part in other cultures, tasting unusual cuisines, and seeing stunningly beautiful landscapes. Nic loves sharing this enthusiasm with others and has built an illustrious career doing so.
She's adventured through parts of Asia, explored a lot of Europe and seen some incredible sights in South America.
Her favourite destination is Ireland. She loves that on a cold day you are always within a reach of a warm pub, smiling face, refreshing pint and interesting story. One of her favourite experiences has been sitting by a turf fire, listening to traditional Irish music. The Irish people are so optimistic and have an adorable sense of family and community. Combined with the lush rolling countryside and beautiful coast, it's a destination unlike any other.
Another fond memory is when she hiked the Inca Trail. Nic says she'll never forget camping in the clouds and hiking Machu Picchu.
Nic is talented at arranging all kinds of travel but specialises in adventure travel and Insight Vacations.
