As a professional travel consultant with over 35 years’ experience, Helen brings many talents to her role – especially when it comes to Europe, and more specifically Croatia. Having lived and worked in Croatia, Helen is not only uniquely familiar with the country and its food, history and culture, but she can speak the language. Now one of the top European travel markets, Croatia is becoming increasingly popular with Australian tourists, and no one is more capable at organising the perfect itinerary than Helen.
Europe as a whole, holds many special memories for Helen. Like visiting an old and cherished friend, the romantic charms of the continent call her back time and time again. In fact, in the past 40 years, she has travelled to Europe more than 50 times. With each trip she brings back new and interesting travel ideas to share with her clients. Aside Croatia and neighbouring Bosnia and Slovenia, Helen has travelled to Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Romania and the U.K.
Helen most loves sharing the European experience through its grand architecture and its delicious and varied cuisine, but it’s the languages and people too that make Europe so interesting. Helen so impressed one couple with the Croatian itinerary that she put together, that the couple came back to Australia and announced that they were going to buy a holiday house in Dubrovnik.
Helen has also travelled through Asia and the Middle East, making her way through such exciting destinations as Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Singapore, as well as Israel and Saudi Arabia. One of Helen’s favourite travel memories was visiting the mystical ruins of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
Helen has made her way to the Western Hemisphere too where she travelled through the Bahamas and Barbados as well as Mexico and the United States. Helen tells of her most memorable travel moment when visiting Chicago on a wintery Christmas Eve. Strolling along the city’s swanky Magnificent Mile, the trees were aglow with ferry lights. Fluffy snowflakes began to fall while the sounds of Christmas carols filled the air, making this one of the most memorable, and magical holiday experiences ever.

Beginning his travel career over 13 years ago with a certificate III in Tourism, Jason went on to become a skilled consultant with expertise in every area of travel. Jason’s own travels have taken him to nearly 50 countries around the globe and his interests reflect a desire to know and understand every destination he comes in contact with. One of his top destinations is the U.S.A., where he enjoys the unique flavour of every city. As Jason puts it, “each city gives me a different experience and atmosphere.” Jason recalls one trip he planned for 60 people who were converging on a remote island in the Philippines. The logistical challenges in organising such a trip are precisely why Jason enjoys the travel industry. One of Jason’s special memories during his own travels include an orphanage visit in Kenya where he donated school supplies and toys. With this broad travel experience, Jason’s clients can be assured of receiving a well organised travel plan.
