Lex's travel addiction began as a small boy when helping his father plan family holidays in Australia. Booking motels, studying road maps and reading travel brochures were the first steps in what has become a highly successful travel career.
His 10-year career as a journalist - which included gaining a master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in USA - also helped to develop his love of travel. Now, almost 25 years after joining Flight Centre, Lex's achievements include: taking Carindale Flight Centre to number one shop world-wide, taking his Travel Associates store to number one in the company and being inducted into Flight Centre's prestigious Hall of Fame in 2005.
Lex specialises in privately tailored holidays in Italy (even though his favourite city is Paris!). He has travelled to more than 50 countries, so asking him to choose his favourite travel experience is a challenge. Family villa and skiing holidays are certainly up there with his fondest travel memories.
Sharyn has always had a passion to travel and loves to help plan trips for her valuable clients by drawing on own her extensive travel experiences. There are a long list of destinations that have proved highlights for Sharyn, including: overland travel from London to Kathmandu, the Trans Siberian Railway, the UK, Europe, Asia (especially China) Canada & USA, Africa, South America and, in more recent years, Family Cruise Holidays.
Sharyn places an emphasis on exceptional customer service; taking care of all the small details. Her goal is to offer her clients a seamless travel experience and she is rewarded with an enormous following of repeat and referral clients. Her travel career, which spans over 28 years, has been rewarded with many prestigious awards including recognition as the company's top consultant worldwide in the 90's - not once but three times! She has also been proudly inducted into the Flight Centre 'Hall of Fame'.

Kelly has a passion for skiing and has enjoyed ski holidays throughout Australia and New Zealand, at Whistler in Canada and in Austria. Combined with travel to more than 30 countries, Kelly has a wealth of travel knowledge, from visiting Mayan ruins in Mexico to sailing the Greek Islands, not to mention shopping excursions in New York!
Kate's love of travel came from three years living and working in Europe. She loves planning personalised itineraries which offer a diverse cultural experience such as exploring the backstreets, visiting markets and indulging in local cuisine.

Sonia loves travel; the excitement of arriving at a new destination; being immersed in foreign language; discovering a hidden treasure at a local market; sampling regional food and wine but most of all, she loves to share these experiences with her clients. Having lived in Japan and being fluent in Japanese means Sonia has a real insight into Japan and its culture and can introduce you to some wonderful off-the-beaten track experiences there. She has also lived in the UK and travelled extensively throughout Britain and Europe, with a particular affinity for all things Italian thanks to her Italian heritage and love of pasta.
Sonia's favourite travel moments include watching the sun rise from the summit of Mt Kinabalu in Borneo, coming face-to-face with a highland cow on the West Highland Way in Scotland, standing in the centre of Red Square in Moscow, being surrounded by Sumo in Tokyo, having shoe-shopped success at Bloomingdales in New York, and climbing down into the inners of an Egyptian pyramid in Giza.

Gayle Grimshaw has worked as a Travel Consultant since 2005. For Gayle, the love of the job comes from being able to share her passion for travel with other people.
Gayle has visited many parts of the world - too numerous to list! "It's impossible to single out any particular destination as they all hold their own special memories for me," she says.
"My favourite regular holiday is skiing in Canada which I can never get enough of."
Of all the things Gayle has seen and done the trans-Mongolian rail trip from Beijing to St Peterburg tops the list as it was such a different and amazing experience.
