Wherever you want to go in the world our Manager, Karen Majsay, has probably been there in her 15 years in the travel industry. Karen is our resident expert on active travel, beach/spa resorts, cultural adventures and travelling with children.
If you are looking for tips on the best trekking, walking, skiing, snowboarding and adventure backpacking destinations, then Karen can help you. She has backpacked around Europe including Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Amsterdam, London, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Czech Rep, Slovakia and Hungary. She has skied and snowboarded in Alberta and British Columbia in Canada, Colorado, California, and most of the Australian ski-fields. Karen has also walked the Kokoda Trek in New Guinea.
Other destinations that Karen has explored include Cambodia, Egypt, Turkey, Nepal, Hong Kong, Singapore, Morocco, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Borneo, Thailand and Indonesia. She has taken self-drive holidays through Western USA, Malaysia, New Zealand, South Australia, parts of Western Australia, North Territory and Tasmania. Karen has also enjoyed African safari holidays in Kenya, Botswana and Zambia.
To relax and unwind, Karen has enjoyed 5-star resort holidays in Hawaii, Bali, Thailand, Borneo, Fiji, Vanuatu, Tahiti, Brunei, Bedarra Island, Hayman Island, Byron Bay, North Queensland. She has also cruised through South East Asia.
Her favourite travel memories involve immersing herself into the local cultures - taking part in home stays in villages, catching local transport and learning about other religions. She particularly loves Asia and India for its food, people, diversity, value for money.
Some memorable travel moments include dancing with locals in villages in Romania and with the Masai tribes in Kenya; having a picnic breakfast in the Masai Mara watching the wildebeest wander past and jet skiing the azure blue waters of Bora Bora lagoon.
She also rates sleeping under the stars in the desert on a 3 day camel trek in Rajasthan, India; seeing the sunrise at Mt Batur Volcano in Java after climbing the mountain by donkey and sleeping on the floor of a train for 20 hours in India, and then checking in to the opulent Lake Palace Hotel in Udaipur as some of her more memorable moments.
But her true stand out travel memories include the feeling of elation at the finish of Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea and shopping in the markets of Bali and Thailand with her children.

Salli has personally tried out the slopes of Scandinavia, Canada, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Japan and can tell you the best runs to take and the pick of the resorts and chalets.
She has been diving throughout Micronesia including Guam, Truk, Yap, Saipan, Palau, Fiji, Vanuatu, Thailand, Bali, Vietnam, Lake Ontario, Greece and the Cairns and The Whitsundays.
Originally from the UK, Salli has extensive knowledge of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. She also has lived in Scandinavia, Vancouver Island Canada, USA (visiting the majority of the 52 states), New Zealand and Fiji, and can tell you the hidden destinations only the locals know.
Salli has also travelled to France, Belgium, Greece, Toronto, Quebec City and Montreal, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Bali, Dubai, China, Mauritius. Within Australia, Salli has explored both sides of the continent.
Her favourite travel memories include visiting Xian and the amazing Terracotta Warriors, as well as visiting Beijing, Shanghai and exploring inland China on a Yangzi River Cruise. She also rates the skiing in Japan as some of the best in the world and diving in Micronesia on World War 2 wrecks as a unique experience not to be missed. One of her most lasting travel memories was visiting the hill tribes in Vietnam.
Amy Jackson has nearly a decade of experience as a travel consultant behind her. Travel has always been a major part of her life as she travelled from an early age. She has relaxed in luxury resorts as well as tried her hand at back-packing and adventure travel. One of Amy's strengths is being able to pass onto her clients her personal travel experiences of countries/cities that she has seen and the amazing places she has stayed.
In her travels Amy has explored Fiji, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, China, Maldives, UK, Ireland, Europe (Finland, Norway, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Russia), South Africa and the USA (LA, San Francisco and Las Vegas).
She has also visited Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Hamilton Island, Hayman Island, Ayers Rock and Alice Springs.
Her favourite destinations include Italy for the brilliant food and amazing fashion; Norway for the unbelievable scenery and the Maldives for the crystal blue water you have to see to believe.
Some of her most memorable travel moments include seeing her favourite band, U2, in concert in Madrid; playing elephant polo at the Maharaja's City Palace in Jaipur and staying in a beautiful villa in the Tuscany region. She also loved honeymooning at the Soneva Gili Resort in the Maldives. But her all time favourite travel memory was being chosen to sit next to the Captain while flying into Kruger National Park and watching the animals running below the plane as it landed.
Carolyne has a passion for travel that began at an early age. She trained at an International Hotel School which then lead to opportunities working and travelling extensively in Europe and Asia. Carolyne loves a challenge and prides herself on her customer service. With over 9 years experience in the travel industry, she can help you organise your dream holiday or weekend away. She is a skier and has a good knowledge of mountains around the world whether you are a beginner or looking for that fresh powder. Another speciality of Carolyne's is finding you a unique place to stay, from a chateau in France to an Ice Hotel in Norway. She looks forward to helping you organise your unforgettable experience.
With seven years experience as a travel consultant and a seemingly endless list of stamps in her passport Michele has the knowledge and passion to help plan your dream holidays.
Originally from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Michele's passion for travel started at a young age. She's done it all – from elephant riding and hill tribe visits throughout Thailand and shopping up a storm in Singapore and Hong Kong to seeing the Terracotta Warriors of China and surfing in Bali. When it comes to holidaying in Asia Michele's definitely knows her stuff.
Michele has travelled throughout Australia and worked in Guest Services at Perisher Blue for 5 years and on the slopes in Canada for 3.5 years. She knows the Canadian Rockies and the mountains like the back of her hand! As you can see, skiing is a personal passion for Michele and she has experienced some of the world's best slopes. In fact, one of her favourite travel memories is the deep fresh powder of Japan.
Michele has also travelled around the South Pacific including Vanuatu, Fiji and Tahiti, indulged in the luxury beachfront resorts of Hawaii, travelled down the west coast of the USA to Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco and inland through the Grand Canyon and the bright lights of Las Vegas.
She has also been lucky enough to experience South America including the beautiful city of Arequipa, Machu Picchu, Iguassu Falls and colourful Rio De Janeiro. If she could name one highlight it would have to be floating down the Amazon on a balsa tree because their boat wouldn't start.

Hannah has been consulting since 2005. Her enviable list of visited destinations includes Hawaii, Hong Kong, Cook Islands, Fiji, Thailand, Vietnam, New Zealand, Austria, Switzerland, Bali, Germany and Italy. Hannah is also planning a trip to the Maldives for her honeymoon.
Of these, her favourite so far is Thailand. Staying at Six Senses Yao Noi was pure luxury! Hannah will always remember Thailand as a great trip discovering the North in Chiang Mai then Phuket, Phi Phi Island and ending with Yao Noi.
Hannah's favourite travel memory is living and studying in Northern Italy for 10 months in 2001. She loved learning the Italian way of life and travelling around Northern Italy. Stunning!
For Hannah, the love of her job comes from helping her valued clients plan their dream holidays, which also allows her to share her love of travel. She also enjoys continually learning about new destinations and properties.
