Melanie Clout has been a travel consultant for over 6 years. And she has enough personal travel experience to last two lifetimes!
For Melanie, the joy of being a travel consultant comes from helping others to enjoy their new travel experiences and making sure that things move smoothly for them.
"That smile and excitement of anticipation before they go and then the appreciation on the return makes me want to get up every morning and do what I do," she says.
Melanie's list of visited destinations is extensive. She has seen many parts of Australia, New Zealand, around all of USA (full loop and all the main cities and attractions including Hawaii), Mexico, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Brunei, China, Monaco, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Mauritius, Seychelles and Fiji several times. She's travelled extensively through Europe including England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Spain, France, Monaco, Holland, Germany, Italy, Vatican City, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Turkey, Russia, Latvia, Estonia, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Belgium and Sweden. She's also been lucky enough to visit Canada and do a cruise of the South Pacific including New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
Melanie finds it almost impossible to pick a favourite destination. She loves Greece and Italy for the food, Egypt for the history, Africa for its wildlife and the luxury of Mauritius. But her favourite in the end is the USA, with New York City her favourite spot to travel to. "The USA is a country with something for everyone, food from everywhere and one of my favorite countries which is why I keep going back."
Melanie's specialties have developed from her personal passions. She enjoys building itineraries that highlight the food of a destination which she believes reflects a country's culture. She has also experienced over 26 different group tours of all different sizes so can confidently select an organised tour that will suit her client. And last but not least, Melanie is a Mum to two small children, making her an expert in travelling with a young family.

Amy Roach's role in the travel industry enables her to continue to learn about new destinations, and six years on she still goes home everyday wanting to travel somewhere new.
Leaning on her own extensive travel experiences, Amy is enthusiastic about sharing her personal knowledge with individuals and families, whether travelling for business of pleasure.
Before she became involved with the travel industry, she was fortunate enough to travel to compete on the Highland Dancing circuit. Naturally, she was a frequent visitor to Scotland, but also Canada, America, New Zealand and all over Australia. This is where her passion for travel began.
More recently, Amy has travelled to many other parts of Europe, Mexico, Fiji and New Caledonia. She is also familiar with a range of holiday styles having personally experienced cruising, tours and independent travel. From the Eiffel Tower to the Statue of Liberty and the Wallace Monument - Amy enjoys the famous landmarks where ever she goes.
Being so close to her heart, Scotland remains Amy's favourite destination and with close friends and family there it feels like her second home. Amy also loves the history found there, and one of her best travel memories include performing at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo on a few occasions, against the amazing backdrop of Edinburgh Castle.
With her personal connection, Amy can provide a wealth of information for clients travelling to the United Kingdom and Scotland in particular. Ask her about the short cuts, where to stay, what to see and the easiest way to get there. Amy has also established herself as a group travel specialist, with a focus and expertise in coordinating itineraries to meet specific needs.
After eight years in the travel industry, Melissa Saad remains passionate about helping people create memories that will last a lifetime and helping make their dreams come true.
Melissa has been fortunate enough to discover many places around the world on her own adventures. She has travelled through the United Kingdom, including Scotland and Ireland, and across the English Channel in some of Europe's most popular destinations including Holland, Italy and Spain.
Other adventures have led her to Los Angeles in sunny California, the glamorous Las Vegas and many exotic countries in Asia including Thailand, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Brunei. Closer to home, Melissa has enjoyed the barefoot luxury and island hospitality of Fiji and Vanuatu as well as crossing the Tasman to New Zealand.
Las Vegas is one of Melissa's favourite destinations because there is always something great to see and do. When it comes to relaxation, Borneo ranks as her favourite place in the world, with its large resorts, amazing diving and being relatively uncrowded. Plus it's an easy 2 hour flight to the shopping mecca of Kuala Lumpur on the way home to Brisbane - so she recommends taking an empty suitcase.
Italy also holds a special place in Melissa's heart, with its faultless combination of beautiful food, people and scenery. So it comes as little surprise that indulging in famous Italian pizza's and lemonchello is her favourite travel memory.

Tessa Millman has been in the travel industry for seven years and loves the thrill of learning about different countries and the possibility of going to visit new destinations. She brings a wealth of destination knowledge and experience in her part-time position with the team at Clout & Turner Travel Associates.
Tessa has seen some of the world's most exotic locations including Egypt, which with its unique culture and amazing sights is one of her favourite destinations. Some of her other favourite places in the world include the history-rich Germany together with Squaw Valley and Lake Tahoe in the United States - both places she loves to ski.
She has also travelled to Singapore, Dubai, North America and throughout the UK and Europe. Although it's difficult to pick a favourite memory from all her travels, Tessa will never forget hiring out quad bikes in Santorini and driving to the end of the island to watch the beautifully famous sunset in the Greek Islands.
Having travelled extensively through Europe several times, Tessa is very familiar with many destinations in this part of the world, and is a valuable resource for those planning a trip to the region.
