Words cannot adequately describe the magnificence of the Antarctic Peninsula and the South Shetland Islands. Our emphasis is on wildlife encounters, personal contact with the environment, visiting sites of historical interest and to a lesser extent scientific stations. The emphasis on this voyage is on wildlife encounters. Every opportunity is taken to leave the ship and explore. Regular landings happen, using the fleet of zodiacs, to walk among the penguin rookeries and seal colonies.
We will make regular landings using our fleet of zodiacs and walk among the multitude of penguin rookeries and seal colonies in the vicinity of Deception Island, Gerlache Strait, Paradise Bay and feast our eyes on the magnificent Lemaire Channel. Always expect the unexpected whenever you travel to Antarctica.
