Spot a rare snow leopard and be part of conservation work in Ladakh when the barren landscape turns white for Winter during this trek from Travel Associates.

The 14-day trek starts in Delhi from where you will fly to the Leh Valley to explore the colourful towns and surrounding monasteries of hemis, Shey and Tikse. Wildlife enthusiasts will search for snow leopards around Hising and Rumbuk and stay with the local villagers as part of a home stay project set up by the Snow Leopard Conservancy India Trust. This immersion will provide you with a glimpse of the 'real' India.

Your experience includes 7 nights in comfortable hotels, 6 nights homestay, breakfast daily, 5 lunches, a tour leader, local guides, arrival transfer, transport (including in 4WD jeeps), sightseeing and entrance fees. Personal trekking equipment, a specialised medical kit and a portable altitude chamber is also included.

Return domestic flights from Delhi to Hemis start from $581* per person.

Prices start from $3640* per person twin share for 14 days. Airfares to Kathmandu where trip begins are additional and can be arranged by your Travel Associates consultant to suit your travel plans.
