Greek Island Gastronomy Tour

Greekalicious cooking school has opened places for a unique culinary adventure of indulgence across four Greek Isles (Santorini and Crete amongst them) and more than 20 locales; offering food followers the chance to visit ancient providores, producers and places, never before opened to visitors.

Embarking 8 September 2008, the tour is a first of its kind cultural and culinary exploration led by Greekalicious founder, Greek Australian Maria Benardis, across the magical Greek isles; offering a locals’ entrée to important culinary traditions and practices. The nineteen day journey blends luxurious accommodation with historic and stunning island locations; and the finest regional food and wine, with legendary Greek story telling and custom. Host Maria Benardis says the adventure takes travellers where no other tours go, revealing ancient Greek cookery techniques and secrets not widely known.

Your experience includes 19 day tour of Greece and it's islands, airfares, ferry/jet cat travel, and accommodation within Greece, coach travel, meals as indicated, entrance fees, chef and cooking class charges, experienced local English speaking guides in each place we visit, all activities incorporated in the schedule including some additional food component and some alcoholic beverages for certain set activities which will be clearly outlined during the tour.

Prices start from $9,850 per person twin share for 19 days. Airfares are additional and can be arranged by your Travel Associates consultant to suit your travel plans.
