10 EXCITING NEW CRUISE AND TOUR ITINERARIES FOR 2015/16

1. Ultimate Antarctica & Patagonia
Join Seabourn for the Ultimate Antarctica & Patagonia experience in November 2015. There's no telling how many majestic and unspoiled natural splendors await, from  snow-capped volcanoes reflected in crystalline lakes, massive glaciers and fjords, the rugged grandeur of Patagonia, Cape Horn, and the sweeping landscapes and diverse wildlife of Antarctica.

2. Golden Triangle & The Sacred Ganges | India   
Explore India with luxury river cruise company Uniworld, who will introduce it's new Golden Triangle itinerary in January 2016. The itinerary mixes land touring and river cruise on a journey from New Delhi to Kolkata that incorporates a week-long river cruise aboard the new all-suite Ganges Voyager 11 followed by a five-day land tour of the Golden Triangle, one of India's most historic regions.

3. Wineglass Bay Sail Walk | Tasmania  
The Wineglass Bay Sail Walk is an all-new experience combining several awe-inspiring guided walks with sailing on a luxury yacht on Tasmania's east coast. Hike on Maria Island and the Freycinet and Tasman peninsulas before retiring to the air-conditioned 23m Lady Eugenie with a maximum of 10 guests. Both four-day and six-day itineraries are available with departures until May 2015.

4. Viking Star | Europe  
Famed for its heritage and innovation in river cruising, Viking will launch its first ocean cruise ship, Viking Star, in May 2015 under the Viking Ocean Cruises brand. The 930-guest ship will feature all veranda staterooms and cruise the Mediterranean and Baltic region. Its facilities include two pools, two restaurants, spa and fitness centre, a variety of bars and lounges, sports deck and theatre.

5. The Ghan | Northern Territory & South Australia
Between the peak season of May through August 2015, a new extended service of The Ghan is being introduced. The trip is a day longer than its standard itinerary from Darwin to Adelaide and includes Katherine, more time in Alice Springs, a new excursion at the opal mining town of Coober Pedy and other highlights including dinner under the stars in the MacDonnell Ranges.

6. Anthem of the Seas | Europe  
Royal Caribbean International will celebrate 2015 with the launch of new Quantum-class ship Anthem of the Seas — with on-board facilities include dodgem cars, skydiving and Willy Wonka-esque glass capsule offering 360-degree views 90m above sea level. In other RCI news, Explorer of the Seas will be the biggest ship to homeport in Australia when she arrives in Sydney in November 2015.

7. Tastes of Thailand
Abercrombie & Kent's new Tastes of Thailand is a 6-day private journey that lets you sample Bangkok's famous street food and produce markets, dine at some of Thailand's best restaurants and take part in cooking classes. Stay at the Metropolitan by COMO, home to David Thompson's Nahm Restaurant, and The Thai House — a traditional teakwood home stay and cooking school.

8. Golden Princess | South Pacific  
Princess Cruises will welcome all 108,865 tonnes of the Golden Princess to its Australian-based fleet in October 2015. Largely based out of Melbourne for her maiden Australian season from October 2015 to March 2016 — it's the largest cruise ship to be based in the Victorian capital ever. With her last refurbishment completed in May 2012, Golden Princess should prove a popular choice.

9. Real Food Adventure in Israel
Taste Yemenite fare in Tel Aviv, soak up the vibe in Akko's Old Town fish market, tour a tahini factory, pick up cooking techniques in Buq'ata, bake braided challah bread and taste roast Palestinian musakhan in the West Bank — all on Intrepid’s new Real Food Adventure in Israel. Fancy a side of complex history and amazing cultural sites too? The 10-day tour departs in June, July and September.

10. Le Lyrial | Europe  
Luxury line, Ponant, will add another vessel to its French-flagged fleet in April 2015. Le Lyrial, sister ship to L'Austral, Le Boreal and Le Soleal, will have 122 outside staterooms and suites taking up to 264 guests with 139 crew. Le Lyrial will sail the turquoise Adriatic Sea, wending her way between necklaces of islands dotted here and there off the Dalmatian Coast from May 2015 initially.
