This hotel is akin to a Japanese pop-art palace. With the aim of bringing downtown funk to sophisticated uptown, this sleek 1960s-meets-21st century hotel has 88 suites, all with flat-panel plasma TVs, preloaded iPods and broadband Internet connection. Interiors pay homage to the glam era of the 1960s - rooms are painted in Yves Klein's international blue with photographer Guy Bourdin's titillating images as room art. An Art Deco landmark constructed in 1923, The Stoneleigh Resort & Spa received a makeover in 2008 to rediscover the hotel's glorious past.
