Kim Ross from Ross & Turner Travel Associates was among a small group of consultants who experienced luxury at sea onboard Celebrity Solstice.
Having arrived in Miami several days prior to their Celebrity Cruise departure, Kim was fortunate enough to experience the amazing Fountainebleau Miami Beach. This landmark hotel merges striking design, contemporary art, music fashion and technology to create a new kind of guest experience.
Fountainebleau offers private cabanas with personalised service around each of its six pools, which collectively rival (if not exceed) the sophistication of any Las Vegas property. Having passed the days relaxing poolside, and nights enjoying the trendsetting, high-energy Miami nightlife, the group found itself onboard the Celebrity Solstice for a seven night cruise amid the Caribbean.
From the moment they boarded the ship, Kim envisaged how difficult it would be to say farewell to this floating 5-star hotel. The chic restaurants and bars are absolutely fantastic, providing inspired beverages and cuisine with generous hospitality. Together with an amazing variety of world-class entertainment, Celebrity Solstice supersedes any experience Kim has had in her locale on the Gold Coast.
The group stayed in the spacious and well appointed Concierge Class cabins featuring a veranda with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. This particular cabin-type provides additional quality amenities and trimmings like fresh flowers and fruit delivered daily.
Seven nights simply was not long enough and Kim is already weighing up the options of this class of ship in the Mediterranean for next year.
