Public Transport:

New York Airport offers an AirTrain system that connects the airport to the MTA Subway. The easiest way to reach Manhattan is by taking the AirTrain to the subway station, then the E train to Manhattan with a total cost of around AU$7.

Car Hire:

Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz and National Cars car hire desks are located on the arrivals level of each terminal.

Check-In

Various check-in counters can be found near the main entrance of each terminal building. For your specific check-in counter, refer to your itinerary.

Currency Exchange

A Lenlyn Ltd Ice Currency office is located in the airport’s terminal 1 while Travelex currency exchange bureaus are available throughout terminals 2 to 8.

Internet Access

Pre-paid wi-fi operated by the Boingo network is available throughout the airport’s terminals.

Baggage

Left baggage storage facilities can be found in terminal 8 and on the first floor of the arrivals hall in terminals 1 and 4.

Lounges

The following major airline lounges are located within JFK Airport. For access to specific lounges, refer to your Travel Associates expert.

American Airlines:

Oneworld international Business Class, First Class and eligible Frequent Flyer members are welcome to enjoy the American Airlines Admirals Club Lounges location in Concourse B and C of terminal 8. Facilities and services within the lounges including conference rooms, free wi-fi, computers with internet access, music rooms, children’s rooms and complimentary beverages and snacks.

British Airways:

British Airways First Class, Club World and Club Europe customers and various eligible club members are welcome to enjoy the airline’s Terraces Lounge located in terminal 7. Within the lounge guests can dine at the onsite restaurant, use the computer stations and free wi-fi as well as relax with complimentary massages at the Elemis spa.

Delta:

Delta First Class and SkyTeam Business passengers as well as SkyClub members can choose from four Delta Sky Club lounges at JFK airport; one on the mezzanine level of terminal 2 and the others located in terminal 3. Within these lounges guests can enjoy complimentary snacks, personalised flight assistance, business cubicles, satellite TV, free wi-fi and a fully stocked bar.
