Yusho at the Monte Carlo

This trendy Downtown café offers American-style tapas and share plates, including bacon jam, cocoa-espresso strip steak, oxtail risotto, crispy chicken skins, rainbow cauliflower and tempura green beans. For a dessert you’re unlikely to get at home, have a go at the bourbon fudge brownie with brown butter bacon ice cream.

A friendly, casual diner serving steak, seafood, pasta and a damn good burger. Ideal for families, this is hearty American comfort food at its finest. The LINQ is a new precinct centred on the High Roller ferris-wheel with plenty of fun bars and casual dining options.

Shamelessly non-PC and hilariously ironic, you eat free at this Downtown icon if you weigh more than 159 kilograms. Order the Double Bypass Burger, Coronary Dog, Flat-liner fries, add 3.5 ounces of whipped cream vodka to your shake or order from the vegetarian menu – which is tobacco.
