Luxurious Coral Coast Packages

Mile after spectacular mile, the Coral Coast with its long, white sand beaches, brightly coloured coral filled waters and luxury five-star hotels, can lay claim to being the genesis of Fiji's bourgeoning tourism industry. The Coral Coast may be known as the birth place of the bure, but this fascinating holiday location continues to change with the times, fully embracing twenty-first century style.

Situated between Nadi and Suva on Fiji's Viti Levu island, the Coral Coast is easily accessible from the international airport. The picturesque one hour drive from Nadi introduces visitors to a hilly landscape rich in Fijian scenery and culture. A worthwhile sightseeing tour in itself, the journey winds past idyllic coves and bays, lush green hills which extend out to pointy mountains, and provides roadside opportunities to sample local produce along the way.

The Coral Coast is aptly named too. It's virtually the only place on Fiji's main island, Viti Levu, where you can step off the beach and find yourself swimming on a coral reef. A day tour through the rainforest-covered mountains will reveal a vast tropical eco-system complete with raging waterfalls and native flora and fauna, while nearby villages offer a real life look into the Fijian way of life.

Resorts and hotels on the Coral Coast are no less exciting. Beachfront bures with all the mod-cons, secluded villas and luxury suites provide an exotic atmosphere in which to relax and unwind. Take a dip in a stunning pool or feel the sand between your toes with a walk along the beach. Plenty of sightseeing and sport activities await on the Coral Coast. From kayaking, snorkelling, diving and fishing, there are many ways to become immersed in the beauty of this holiday maker's heaven.
